Human Resource Specialist (Human Resources)

Community Care Cooperative (C3) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, Accountable Care Organization (ACO) governed by Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs). Our mission is to leverage the collective strengths of FQHCs to improve the health and wellness of the people we serve. We are a fast-growing organization founded in 2016 with 9 health centers and now serving hundreds of thousands of beneficiaries who receive primary care at health centers and independent practices across Massachusetts. We are an innovative organization developing new partnerships and programs to improve the health of members and communities, and to strengthen our health center partners.
Job Summary:
Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, the Human Resource (HR) Specialist will have primary responsibility for the centralized transactional processes for new hires commencing at the point the offer is made including all employee onboarding activities required to prepare for the employees first day. This position will collaborate directly with employees and front-line leaders in order to coordinate the day-to-day delivery of HR administrative & operational support. This position is responsible for completion and timely submission of requests, projects and routine reports, while ensuring strict adherence to confidentiality.
Responsibilities:
Administer the job requisition, internal and external job posting process and applicant tracking for all new and replacement positions Provide support to HR team with conducting employment verification, education verification and reference checks Complete and submit all new hire Personnel Action Forms (PAF) Support Organizational Development with 30-day check in report Utilize Human Resource Information System (HRIS) to produce reports and share metrics Support Talent Acquisition and Retention Specialist (TARS) with providing candidates and/or new employees with benefit information Support employees with updating information on HRIS platform, upload employee documentation and files Administer system upkeep by ensuring standard operating procedures and other relevant information is up to date Provide administrative support as required to support various HR programs and processes Coordinate and facilitate New Hire Orientation on rotational basis with HR Team Provide group level administrative support for all HR related actions, including, but not limited to new hires, promotions, transfers, leave of absence, terminations and payroll transactions Other duties as assigned
Required Skills:
Must demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills 3+ years of experience in Human Resources Process oriented ability to evaluate and improve HR administrative processes Ability to work with sensitive information and maintain a high degree of confidentiality Strong ability to manage and facilitate change Generate creative and innovative solutions to problems Strong analytical skills combined with a high level of attention to detail Demonstrated ability to effectively handle multiple priorities and projects Excellent interpersonal skills to work with employees and managers at all levels Initiative to investigate and proceed with new ideas, projects, or process improvements Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal skills and strong presentation skills Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50-75% of the time Ability to travel required, approximately 30% of the time This is a hybrid position and may require you to work both remote and in-person as required by the department
Desired Other Skills:
Familiarity with Federally Qualified Health Centers Familiarity with MassHealth ACO Program Project-management skills preferred Experience with anti-racism activities, and/or lived experience with racism is highly preferred
Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree required Post-graduate degree in health care or business administration, preferred
