Leer East in Milton, PA is seeking highly motivated dependable employees to join our team on the production floor.
1 st Shift starts at 6 AM Full PPE Including Respirator Required!
Pay Rate begins at $20.50/hr.
$750 Sign on Bonus payable after 90 days of successful employment!
Overtime may be built into the schedule and some Saturday availability is required.
1 - 3 years manufacturing experience preferred. Leer provides full time hours, overtime, & 10 paid holidays from date of hire. Eligibility for a competitive benefit package is after only 30 days of full time employment and includes paid holidays, group health insurance, prescription drug coverage, dental, vision, short-term disability and a 401(k) plan. Paid vacation after 1 year.
SUMMARY
Responsible for smoothing out and removing air pockets from fiberglass lamination during the spray-out and construction process of fiberglass Caps and Lids or other fiberglass products.

QUALIFICATIONS
Must be familiar with the fiberglass process procedures and quality requirements. Must also have the ability and experience to recognize air pockets and possible defects. Must have knowledge and experience in the use of hand tools such as roller, brook and cutters required to complete the task. Knowledge and skill are acquired through working experience or on-the-job training. Regular and predictable attendance is required.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
This employee may be required to have a high school diploma or GED. In additions, this employee may be required to participate in annual training for Hazardous Waste Recycling and fire safety.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to fingers. This job may bring employee in contact with hazardous chemicals and fumes. For this reason, wearing a respirator is required. Lifting is not a major factor in this job.
