Production Trainee (Project Management)
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Duties are assigned as needed and are based upon the individual knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Shipping and receiving products.
Setting up and/or breaking down and cleaning mills.
Filling, labeling or packaging product as well as general housekeeping duties.
Clean or fill equipment and tanks and proper storage of equipment upon completion.
Handles hazardous and non-hazardous wastes.
Utilizes a satellite accumulation container.
Operating a forklift and/or other material handling equipment as needed.
Maintain good practice of safety and housekeeping procedures.
Contributes to efforts for continuous improvement and reduction of costs/waste.
??Qualifications and Education Requirements?
Qualified candidates must be able to read and understand written instructions and capable of calculating weights and measurements.
Certified for Forklift operation.
Maintain a neat, conscientious, quality of work.
Knowledge/Ability to commit to a safe, healthful workplace.
Maintain good attendance record.
??Preferred Skills? and Experience
Must possess strong interpersonal skills.
Be able to handle frequent interruptions.
Maintain a calm demeanor when confronted with conflict.
Physical Requirements:
The ability to communicate orally with customers, vendors, management, and other co-workers is crucial.?
Hearing and vision within normal ranges is essential for normal conversations, to receive ordinary information and to prepare or inspect documents.?
Must be able to position self to maintain and operate equipment.?
Heavy lifting is expected; exertion of up to 80 lbs. of force required.??
Good manual dexterity for the use of equipment.??
Ability to regularly squat and return to standing without assistance.??
Ability to regularly ascend and descend stairs.??
