WELDER FABRICATOR (Manufacturing)

Join our team as a Welder/Fabricator in our Gate Shop and play a key role in fabricating metal parts and assemblies to exact specifications. We're seeking a dedicated individual with a strong work ethic and a passion for delivering high-quality craftsmanship.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:
Fabricate metal parts and assemblies according to project specifications, ensuring precision and adherence to quality standards. Follow blueprints to accurately execute welding and fabrication tasks, producing strong and clean welds. Collaborate with experienced welders to assist in the fabrication of gates and other metal products, including material preparation, assembly, and finishing tasks. Safely handle and transport raw materials, tools, and finished products within the shop. Maintain an organized and efficient workspace, cleaning and maintaining tools and equipment used in the welding process. Take accurate measurements of materials, mark cutting lines, and assist in the cutting process to ensure precision. Support the welding team in assembling components, ensuring proper alignment and fit, and assisting in tack welding and other preliminary tasks. Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines, wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and reporting any safety concerns to the supervisor. Assist in quality control processes by inspecting finished products for defects and ensuring they meet required standards. Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals and maintain a positive work environment. Complete special projects as needed to support team objectives.
