Role description:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced leader to join our team in overseeing the construction of a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility for a globally recognized company. In this role, you will be at the forefront of one of the organization's most ambitious projects, responsible for leading a multidisciplinary team to ensure the successful execution of the project from inception to completion. You will coordinate with stakeholders, manage timelines and budgets, and drive the team to deliver exceptional results while upholding the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency. Role accountabilities:

• Prepare estimating procedures and overall estimating review and justification.
• Lead Project Controls team in decision making.
• Create project costings and budgets from clear objectives, managing finances across a project to ensure profit and budgetary targets are met and best value outcomes are achieved.
• Lead and manage individual cost management assignments from inception to completion, managing teams and resources to ensure delivery standards meet client expectations.
• Monitor and review the performance and behavior of all team members, including educating and influencing others, and take action to ensure compliance with organizational policies and codes of conduct across the entire project team.
• Assure compliance with contracts in terms of project delivery parameters and scope of service.
• Analyze and compile a range of complex data and documents, using knowledge to review and assess analysis and provide recommendations to contribute to project decision making.
• Use own knowledge and experience of industry best practices to support the development of current cost and commercial management systems and processes.
• Work to improve services and drive innovation to increase team contribution to project delivery.
• Manage relationships with customers to identify opportunities to improve the cost management offering and deliver customer satisfaction.
• Act as a key technical resource within the field of cost/commercial management, providing technical advice and solutions to internal colleagues to support successful project delivery across a range of projects.
• Build valued relationships with senior clients and stakeholders to ensure client satisfaction, develop the cost management service and create new business opportunities.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline (Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying)
• Relevant professional certification (i.e., Association for the Advancement of Cost Engineering [AACE] or similar)
• 10 or more years' relevant experience
• Relevant professional experience in a similar working environment, including delivering medium/large projects across an entire project life cycle.
• Experience managing people and demonstration of leadership skills, including the ability to motivate others.
• Experience building and managing client relationships at senior-management level, including the ability to act as a trusted advisor.

We offer nine paid holidays and 15 days PTO that accrue per year. The salary range for this position is $94,000 - $163,000. Actual salaries will vary and are based on several factors, such as experience, education, budget, internal equity, project and location.
