Enterprise Products Partners L.P. is one of the largest publicly traded partnerships and a leading North American provider of midstream energy services to producers and consumers of natural gas, NGLs, crude oil, refined products and petrochemicals. Our services include: natural gas gathering, treating, processing, transportation and storage; NGL transportation, fractionation, storage and import and export terminals; crude oil gathering, transportation, storage and terminals; petrochemical and refined products transportation, storage and terminals; and a marine transportation business that operates primarily on the United States inland and Intracoastal Waterway systems. The Measurement Automation Technician is responsible for installation and support of measurement instrumentation, and flow computers. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Install SCADA equipment for pipeline automation.
Programming, configuring, and commissioning a variety of analytical and control equipment used to control pipelines.
Daily use of computer laptop, applications software for various types of equipment.
Diagnosis and repair of power generation and uninterruptible power supplies.
Coordination with project and operations teams on I&E installation of measurement facilities.
Perform Factory Acceptance Tests of prepackaged measurement skids, control panels, and power equipment control buildings.
Perform instrument loop tests verifying accurate data transmittal from device to the control center.
The successful candidate will meet the following qualifications:
I&E experience requirement.
Vocational-technical certificate or an Associate's degree in electronics or related field experience is required.
Experience in basic computer use including the use of word processing, spreadsheets, and email software.
Experience with and knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance of various types of Measurement, Communications and SCADA equipment is desired.
A valid driver's license is required.
Must be willing and able to perform essential functions of this position in an outdoor environment under variables such as inclement weather conditions including extreme heat, cold, wind and precipitation, variable heights, and unstable terrain.
Must be able to understand the operation of and repair of various applicable mechanical and technical equipment or systems.

Must be accountable and self-driven to learn, and to continuously develop and improve skills through both formalized and on-the-job training.
Must be able to travel on a daily basis to various locations. May require occasional overnight travel.
