Baker Supervisor (Finance)
Job Description Summary
The Pastry Cook is responsible for pastry and baking production, following the directive of the Pastry Chef, for all hotel outlets. The baker is responsible for the quality and timeliness of the product and for the cleanliness and organization of the pastry shop.
Job Description
- Produce the highest quality standards for bakery and pastry in a timely and consistent manner in accordance with established quality standards.
- Maintain the production chart and cleaning schedule on a daily basis.
- Test food to ensure the quality and consistency of all meals served.
- Operate all kitchen equipment in a safe and responsible manner.
- Handle and store food items safely and keep the work area clean and sanitized.
- Adhere to established safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Adhere to uniform and grooming standards.
- Perform other duties or projects as requested by management.
