Mold Operator- Manufacturing (Manufacturing)
Job Summary:
As a Mold Operator at Neenah Foundry, you will play a key role in our metal casting process by operating and maintaining molding equipment. Your primary responsibility will be to produce high-quality molds used in the manufacturing of iron castings. This position requires attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to safety.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate and monitor molding machines to produce molds according to specifications.
Prepare and inspect mold components for accuracy and quality.
Ensure molds are properly filled, aligned, and finished.
Perform basic maintenance and cleaning of molding equipment.
Follow safety protocols and report any hazards or equipment issues.
Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED preferred.
Previous foundry or manufacturing experience is a plus, but not required.
Ability to lift heavy materials and work in a physically demanding environment.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
Willingness to work in hot, noisy environments and wear proper PPE.
Dependable with a positive attitude and a team-first mindset.
