QA Engineering Manager (Finance)
Job Summary:
TransCore is seeking a talented QA Engineering Manager of server level system software to join our Software Development Team. The individual selected will participate directly with the software development teams as the QA Engineering Manager leading and tasking a small team of co-located Test Engineers. The QA Engineering Manager will be responsible for the direction of the testing team including the definition of best practice procedures/methodologies and selection of tools incorporated into this portion of the software development life cycle. The QA Engineering Manager must have technical expertise to assist with implementing the desired testing processes and practices. The QA Engineering Manager will report to the Director of the Host System Software for TransCore and will participate with other team Managers and developers in an agile team environment.
TransCore's solutions are currently in use at tolling operations all over the country; some of which are the first of their kind. The software we are developing with the team in Round Rock, TX is the next generation of an existing suite of products used for tolling operations real-time monitoring, system auditing, transaction processing, and video and image processing using many of the following technologies:

Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related engineering field or comparable work experience. Master's degree in computer science or a related engineering field highly desirable.
