Admissions Data Communications Processor (Project Management)
Regular attendance and punctuality
Process information requests from prospective students, university friends, guidance counselors, parents and churches
Records the receipt of applications for admissions, transcripts, application fees, enrollment deposits and housing contracts
Ensure and maintains the accuracy of all academic documentation entered into the database for the purpose of admission
Facilitates information to other campus offices, such as the registrar, student life, and financial aid
Prepare advisement files for all new freshman and transfer students, and any readmitted student returning to the University
Sends general and specific correspondence to prospective students
Opens and directs daily admissions mail
Assists in administrative tasks for the Office of Admission & Vice President for Enrollment Management
Sets an example of a Christian lifestyle for students, staff and faculty
Commitment and adherence to Southwest Baptist University's Principles and Expectations
Performs other duties as assigned

Position Requirements
Required
A high school diploma or GED
Ability to operate standard office equipment such as a photocopier/ fax/ scanner/ copier, etc.
A working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Affirm without reservation the University's Mission, Vision, and Core Values
Preferred
2 or more years of office management and/or customer relations
Thorough understanding of a Christian, liberal arts mission and education
Ability to relate to and communicate effectively with internal and external constituents of various levels and diverse backgrounds
Ability to provide a high level of customer service, confidentiality and professionalism
Excellent organizational skills
Strong commitment to personal and professional integrity, growth and development
Effective and broad communication skills
Work Environment
Typical office environment. Must be available to work varied hours and attend activities away from the office.
Physical Abilities
Must be able to exert up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects.
Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods of time.
Occasionally move about the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as copy machine and computer printer.
