Job Description
- Drives/operatesequipment and vehicles in a safe manner.
- Receiving and documenting merchandise for delivery or return.
- Keeping an inventory of all merchandise entering or exiting the warehouse.
- Identifying any missing, lost or damaged materials and immediately notify the supervisor.
- Ensuring that all the merchandise is safely and securely packed and labeled for shipping.
- Managing all merchandise with appropriate care.
- Assisting with training of newly employed workers.
- Transport supplies to cleaning teams.
- Sign in and out equipment for cleaning teams.
- Collect garbage from clean teams for safe and proper disposal.
- Assists with the cleaning of the aircraft as needed.
- Ability to work on feet for 8 hours and carry loads up to 80 pounds
- Ability to work independently and safely
- Completes paperwork and forms connected with work assignments pertaining to procedures and enter into Company's information system as required.
- Performs other related duties as assigned within the appropriate skill and experience capabilities expected for this position.
Basic Qualifications
Pre-requisites:
- Must be a local (in-state) resident.
- Valid Driver's License.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
- Ability to pass up to a 10-year background check.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986.
- Must complete ramp and SIDA training to obtain airport authority identification security.
Experience:
Must be open minded and ready to work as part of a detail-oriented team.
Knowledge of operating a forklift and warehouse environment is preferred.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Strong work ethic.
- Ability to work in a team oriented environment.
- Knowledge of operating a forklift
