About the Role:
The Senior Editor works independently to perform substantive editing, copyediting and proofreading on blogs, data-driven research reports, executive speeches, event materials, internal communications, memos and other content. Reviews content and charts for accuracy, clarity, consistency and organization as well as grammar, punctuation, style and usage. Responsible for making content clearer and more engaging. Serves as a guardian of the Dallas Fed's brand and reputation and ensures content is accurate and aligns with standards. Champions and implements editing best practices across the organization. This role is part of the Dallas Fed's integrated communications team, helping engage audiences through multiple channels including web, internal channels, social media, email marketing and more.

The Dallas Fed's communications team actively and strategically employs communications to advance the Bank's strategy and priorities. It comprises employee, public, and executive communications as well as media relations. The team aligns and integrates the Bank's public-facing communications on policy, research, banking, and community issues while ensuring employees are informed and engaged in our work and the bank's mission.

This role allows for the employee to work in a hybrid manner with some work conducted onsite at the Federal Reserve work location and some work conducted remotely. Specific schedule details will be discussed during the recruitment process.
