About the Role
As the driving force behind our HR team, you will unite a team of experienced leaders specializing in Employer Branding, Talent Acquisition, Compensation & Benefits and HR Business Partnering. Together, you will craft and execute Essity's HR strategies for North America. Labour relations and HR compliance will fall under your purview, ensuring that we operate to the highest standards.
You will work hand-in-hand with cross-functional partners in our HR organization, including Business Unit HR leaders, Centers of Expertise (COEs), and HR services. As a key player in the HR Operations Leadership Team, you will also be central to the success of global HR projects.

What You Will Do
Be a strategic leader, providing coaching and a shared vision for the North America HR Operations leadership team and acting as the voice of HR in country management teams.
Actively contribute to the continued success of Essity's Diversity, Equity and Inclusion strategy, and drive our Health & Wellbeing strategy to ensure an inclusive employee experience for all.
Partner with HR and cross-functional stakeholders to enable business success and ensure alignment to global HR processes.
With your team and partners, you own the delivery of excellent HR services to managers and employees across the region (e.g., recruitment, training, compensation and benefits, employment law).
Coach the regional HR team to provide expert advice in all areas of responsibility.
Implement local and global HR processes and policies, and continuously improve how they are delivered in North America.
In partnership with our Talent Supply team, you will drive the positioning of Essity as an employer of choice wherever we hire throughout the region.
Together with our Compensation & Benefits team, be accountable for our local Benefits and remuneration competitiveness.
Deliver and track strategic workforce planning and be accountable for delivery against HR goals and KPIs.
Continue building a positive relationship and partnering with local union/employee representatives.
Who You Are
You hold a Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline and ideally bring 10 years of HR experience in global matrix organizations.
Your deep knowledge of US and Canadian labour laws (including workplace discrimination, FLSA, FLMA, etc.) ensures compliance and fairness in all practices.
You have a proven track record of building engaged, cohesive, and high-performing HR teams.
You are an HR leader who excels in driving change through influencing and coaching skills.
You thrive in complex matrix organizations, adeptly managing industrial relations and fostering a culture of collaboration and open communication.
You combine integrity with pragmatism and a can-do attitude, always prioritizing connection and effective communication to build strong, inclusive relationships.
Your fluency in written and spoken English is complemented by any additional languages, which are beneficial but not required.
Expected Compensation
Competitive annual salary + annual incentive bonus + benefits
