Senior Director of Health Services / Nursing Home Administrator (Project Management)
ClarkLindsey, East Central Illinois only Life Plan Community and a premier provider of long- and short-term care, is seeking a strategic and mission-driven leader to serve as our next Senior Director of Health Services. This executive role oversees a high-performing team and a continuum of services including our 49-bed Skilled Nursing Facility, MeadowLark Assisted Living and Memory Care, and two innovative Green House Homesthe first of their kind in Illinois.

49 total SNF beds: 25 Medicare-certified (no Medicaid), 24 private pay
Consistently rated 45 stars by CMS; strong survey history and clinical outcomes
Full interdisciplinary support: Registered Dietitian, Licensed MSW, and engaged Medical Director rounding weekly
Preferred provider for Carle Foundation Hospital
Operational Strengths Include:
Leadership stability: Administrator (25 years), and a seasoned executive team (CEO, COO, CFO, and 3 VPs)
Robust nurse leadership: DON, ADON (evenings), and a nurse manager float
Dedicated scheduler and daytime/evening leadership coverage 7 days/week
Manager-on-Duty rotation with 16 department leaders
Onsite amenities for staff, including a pool and fitness area
Extensive partnership with the University of Illinois intern program

Who You Are:
A forward-thinking, mission-driven leader who is not afraid to make strategic decisions to achieve the overall success of the health services department.
Easily able to navigate changing priorities and interruptions during the course of a day.
Comfortable delegating tasks to qualified directors and other staff in order to stay focused on the positions leadership responsibilities.
A licensed nursing home administrator in the state of Illinois. (Required)
Minimum of two years' experience in a healthcare organization, to include demonstrated leadership. (Required)
Familiarity with operational, financial, quality assurance and human resources procedures.
Broad knowledge of the Illinois Medicare programs, and all Federal programs related to long-term care.
Familiarity with PointClick Care, and comfort working in MS Office including Sharepoint.
What You Would Do:
Ensure that optimal care is provided to residents by fostering an environment of compassionate care, partnered with adherence to government regulations, and ClarkLindsey policies and best practices.
Hire, orient, lead and coach health services staff. Directly supervise the Director of Nursing, Director of Assisted Living, and a handful of support staff.
Foster a culture centered on ClarkLindsey values of Meaningful Life, Engaged Staff, Inclusive Community and Excellence when working with stakeholders including residents and their families, team members, volunteers, peers, and others.
Develop and adhere to annual budget and census goals.
Provide leadership in risk mitigation/prevention and create a culture of safety.
Benefits and Compensation:
The pay range for this position is $120,000 - $160,000 salary and is based on comparable experience. Bonuses equaling up to 5% of salary annually are available based on performance, generally in the spring and fall each year.
