Precision Medicine Product Manager (Healthcare)
What can I expect in this role?
In this position, you will typically work normal business hours Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm. This is a hybrid role with the opportunity to work from home on Mondays and Fridays. This position will require travel up to 30% of the time.
Some key duties in this role include:
Drive top-line revenue growth for product lines sold into the oncology and adjacent markets.
Review performance trends in real time, identifying problems and opportunities and providing real time recommendations to key stake holders. Track product line performance utilizing analytical data. Track and communicate Microbiologics position in the market relative to key competitors including strategy, actions, pricing and market share.
Develop and execute marketing plans to support revenue objectives, prioritizing and managing company resources and activities based on their potential impact on financial business results.
Create annual marketing plans in coordination with key stakeholders including marketing leadership and sales. Measure ROI on all major marketing plan initiatives and maintain knowledge of product line profit margin performance. Forecast product line revenue per market and set product line pricing in coordination with the Core Teams.
Lead product initiatives for the oncology and adjacent markets.
Responsible for upstream marketing efforts, including researching, analyzing and interacting with markets to determine long term direction and then defining a strategic roadmap based on future direction. Manage the product life cycle and determine product potential for new product development. Assume project manager role for all initiatives in assigned markets; leading through conception, feasibility, development and commercialization stages of product development.
Serve as the voice of the customer and as the Microbiologics expert on the clinical laboratory and adjacent markets, its key stakeholders and end users, and the product lines that support testing in these markets.
Conduct market research to define customer needs and wants, build action plans around them. Monitor competitive movement, conduct reviews and provide recommendations as appropriate. Monitor regulatory conditions and formulations, provide standards reports and response recommendations to R&D and Core Teams. Collect input from internal resources to support VOC.
Collaborate with industry experts, Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), and Microbiologics technical teams to gain insight into test methods and requirements.
Engage with KOLs to stay updated on market trends and develop both short-term and long-term strategies. Partner with KOLs on research studies and publications. Participate actively in industry discussions and knowledge-sharing groups.
Direct product positioning and communications for the clinical laboratory and adjacent markets.
Develop and execute market position and brand strategy. Develop creative briefs for communication initiatives. Create marketing collateral to drive product demand and brand awareness within market segments. Develop internal and external communication pieces including distributor awareness, ensuring all internal and external resources are in line for successful launch, including the launch package.

Here is what we are looking for:
Education/Experience
Four-year marketing, business, microbiology, life science or related degree required. Minimum of two years of experience in product management within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry, with a focus on oncology. Deep understanding of oncology therapeutic areas, market dynamics, and regulatory environments preferred. Clinical lab or clinical sales experience a plus
The ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
