Mobile Diesel Mechanic (Maintenance)

As part of our fleet servicing crew as a Mobile Diesel Mechanic, you'll travel between locations, servicing light to medium diesel vehicle fleets (i.e. MB Sprinters, Ford F-250 to F-650, Isuzu NPRs and similar), depending on the client. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, performing preventative maintenance, diagnosing and repairing vehicles while ensuring compliance and keeping a line of communication open between customers and internal teams. Must be willing to work in ALL weather conditions. If you prefer a temperature controlled environment, this job may not be the one.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
Must be 18 years of age with a valid driver's license and the ability to driveMust be an energetic self-starter willing to work in all weather conditions to include but not limited to hot and cold temperatures, rain, snow, and sleet.Familiarity with diagnostic and repair manuals such as ProDemand.Proven experience as a Gas and Diesel Mechanic, with a strong understanding of light to medium to heavy duty vehicle systems and components.Must supply your own basic tools. Heavy duty tools will be provided as needed.Ability to be patient, persistent, and possess problem-solving skills, especially when it comes to challenging repairs.Minimum of 5 years of experience in diesel engine repair and maintenance.Proficiency with diagnostic tools and software.Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality work.Strong communication and interpersonal skills

WORKING CONDITIONS:
This job will involve occasional exposure to some disagreeable elements such as hot and cold temperatures, loud noises, dust/dirt and exhaust fumes.
