Admissions Recruiter (College of Medicine) (Finance)
1. Recruits and assists with enrolling prospective students by promoting the College of Medicine, its curriculum and its mission.
2. Manages regional recruitment sources to ensure that there is robust regional representation in the College of Medicine applicant pool.
3. Monitors the progress of potential applicants in assigned territories in relation to admissions and enrollment; maintains and shares up-to-date reports and records.
4. Builds and supports relationships necessary for applicant recruitment with College of Medicine admissions office partners (i.e., interviewers, committee members, other COM offices/programs, other UH offices/programs, regional and state entities, etc.)
5. Collaborates with colleagues to ensure that prospective students receive regular communications, counsel, and support regarding admission.
6. Leads the development, planning and execution of recruitment activities and special events for the COM Office of Admissions.
7. Establishes and maintains contact with various community-based organizations to establish opportunities for expanding the College of Medicine applicant pool.
8. Distributes recruitment information to prospective students; organizes, maintains, and promotes admissions and scholarship information.
9. Represents the College of Medicine at college and career fairs, conventions, and student recruitment events.
10. Trains and supervises student workers hired to support COM Office of Admissions activities.
MQ: Requires a thorough understanding of both theoretical and practical aspects of an analytical, technical or professional discipline; or the basic knowledge of more than one professional discipline. Knowledge of the discipline is normally obtained through a formal, directly job-related 4 year degree from a college or university or an equivalent in-depth specialized training program that is directly related to the type of work being performed. Requires a minimum of three (3) year of directly job-related experience.
