Advanced Practice Provider - Variable EMU Neurology (Finance)
The APP will function in an expanded collaborative role to provide comprehensive, complete management of patients in the EMU under the supervision of the MD. The APP will be responsible for care from admission to discharge and will demonstrates excellent written and verbal communication skills in all phases of practice. All functions of the job are subject to change based on departmental needs.
The schedule will typically be two weeks EMU, one-week of inpatient care with call and one week of clinical work. The schedule includes the night calls and inpatient neurology coverage over weekends.
APRN Candidates must have a current unrestricted Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner License to practice in the state of Florida; Pediatric Nurse Practitioner Certification via National Certification Center (Pediatric Nurse Practitioner - Acute Care Certification required); AHA BLS and PALS upon hire; FL DEA
PA-C Candidates must have a current unrestricted Physician Assistant License to practice in the state(s) in which privileges are sought; National Certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants; AHA BLS & PALS upon hire; FL DEA
