Server (Food Services)

Join Pines Village Retirement Communities, an independent retirement community providing apartment-like senior living to our residents. We celebrate life by enriching the lives of older adults. We are a non-profit senior living community in Valparaiso. Being non-profit means, we put people before profit. We are seeking compassionate dining servers to join our growing Dining team.

As a Dining Server you will be responsible for:
Serving residents in a professional mannerMaintain a professional demeanor and helpful attitude with residents and guestsFollowing procedures and guidelines outlined by state and federal regulations.Understanding and having knowledge of menu selections and proper servicePerform pre-service dining set-up and post-service clean-up
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalentPrevious customer service and server experience is preferredHave an excellent work ethicHave a Food Handlers Certification or ability to obtain
This is a PRN position for days, evenings and some weekends.
