Quality Control, Systems Specialist III (Biotech)

The Quality Control (QC), Systems Specialist III performs technical tasks to support electronic systems in place for on-going operations of the QC unit. These tasks include system administration responsibilities and basic troubleshooting. Uses ability as a skilled specialist in accordance with company policies and procedures to complete complex tasks in creative and effective ways. Works on assignments that are moderately complex in nature where considerable judgment and initiative are required in resolving problems and making recommendations. Works on moderately complex problems in which analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of various factors.
Key Responsibilities:
Non-Routine Software and System Administration.
Completion of more complex Helpdesk requests.
Creation and Review of data from projects.
Independently drive projects to on-time completion.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Key Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or relevant experience.
5+ years previous experience in a cGMP environment, preferably a quality control laboratory.
Microsoft programs such as Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
LIMS, Trackwise, iLab.
Prior knowledge of applicable computerized laboratory system
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Exercises judgment within broadly defined practices and policies in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results, performing laboratory activities and/or taking appropriate actions.
Mature, self-motivated team player.
Shows initiative; takes action without being given instruction.
May determine methods and procedures on new assignments and may provide guidance to lower level personnel.
Is aware of the department's customers and their needs/expectations. Competent and professional during all written and face-to-face interactions with internal and external customers.
