Event Coordinator (Finance)
The Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City is looking for an experienced event coordinator to support events and conferences in the Branch office in Denver, Colorado. This role is highly collaborative and will require you to build and maintain relationships with several internal departments and external meeting hosts.
As a key member of the team, you will work under the guidance of the District's conference center management to help achieve the Bank's outreach and customer service goals. You will coordinate event logistics with members of the facilities, law enforcement, IT and audio/visual teams as well as working with a third-party vendor for catering services and external partners for hotel blocks, parking and off-site locations for branch business within the district.
You will work closely with the Kansas City Conference Center Team and Public Affairs, who oversee the operation of the district conference centers in Kansas City, Omaha and Denver. You will meet regularly with this team to discuss events, challenges and opportunities and continue to showcase the reputation of the district across the system for service and hospitality.

Key Characteristics and Job Preferences:
Typically requires at least 2 years of relevant experience. Bachelor's degree in business, mass communications, public administration, liberal arts, or a closely related field from an accredited college or university, or equivalent combination of directly related education and/or experience. Intermediate understanding of technical business processes and subject matter. Performs most work independently with general supervision and direction. May consult with management or more senior staff in decision-making.

Location: Denver, CO, ~90% on-site
Pay Range: The pay range for this position is $65,300 to $86,900 annually for the job level(s) required for this position. Final offers are determined by factors including the candidate's qualifications, internal alignment considerations, district assignment, and geographic location.
Sponsorship: Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.
