This role supports Clinical Programs, the division as well as clinical affairs, by designing and deploying data visualizations in line with business strategies and product roadmaps, focusing on translatable clinical data for New Product Development (NPD), New Product Iterations (NPI) and Post Market Surveillance (PMS) initiatives, for internal and external purposes as is appropriate.
This role will collaborate with Clinical Science, Clinical Statistics and Data Science and divisional stakeholders to assess needs and leverage one's expertise in data visualization to drive strategic decision making to maximize impact as it relates to product leadership.
Responsibilities
• Work collaboratively and closely with cross-functional teams (e.g. clinical statisticians, clinical scientists, clinical scientific and medical writers, global product marketing , product managers) to design and deliver project specific data visualization appropriate for target audience, translating complex data insights into data visualizations.
• Develop, test and deploy data visualizations using R, Python, SQL, Tableau, Power BI and utilization of machine-based learning and AI tools.
• Build and validate data visualizations for product focused impact in line with project and product roadmaps.
• Perform exploratory data analysis to uncover trends, anomalies and insight in clinical and real-world datasets in collaboration with the statistics and data science team.
• Develop anomaly detection systems for real-time monitoring of clinical data publications in line with the science communications team.
• Work with Clinical Science and Clinical Statistics to focus on opportunities to translate data to meaningful and impactful resources for internal and external use.
• Provide data visualization support to cross functional teams for advisory boards, investigator meetings and scientific congresses.
• Present findings to both technical teams and non-technical audiences, ensuring clear and impactful communication.
• Meet deadlines and complete administrative tasks such as expenses, training, reporting, policy acknowledgements, etc. in a timely manner.

• Within scope of responsibility, ensure all quality, regulatory, and product specific requirements are met.
• Understand and be accountable for conducting Cook business with integrity and in compliance with applicable standards including Cook policies.
Qualifications
Degree in Data Science, Biostatistics, computer science or a related Data focused field.
Proficiency/Qualification in R, Python and SQL for data analysis
Required Experience:
The ideal candidate has advanced knowledge in Python, R, SQL and visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI).Experience in developing data visualization tools and presenting on them a must.
3-plus year's strong experience with developing and building data visualization platforms - Power BI, Tableau, D3 etc.
Preferred experience
Strong Understanding of clinical data workflows.

Physical Requirements/Work Environment:
Ability to travel domestic and weekends as needed up to 25% (more than 25% travel is possible if home-office based).
