Assistant General Manager (Project Management)
In the absence of the General Manager, will be the primary person responsible for all activities in the dispensary
Assist in recruiting, training, and managing the performance of staff, including MODs (Managers on Duty) and Dispensary Pros.
Oversee and optimize inventory and labor controls to ensure operational excellence.
Maintain consistency in marketing efforts and in-store displays as per brand and DCC guidelines.
Support the achievement of store objectives, including sales estimates and revenue projections.
Ensure full compliance with company policies and industry regulations at our location.
Maintain the highest standards of safety and cleanliness in accordance with company and industry expectations.
Contribute to budget management and ensure financial activities are within allocated budgets.
Monitor and report on the location's profit and loss (P&L), managing payroll and overhead costs effectively.
Troubleshoot operational issues, reporting significant matters to the General Manager.
Uphold exceptional levels of customer service consistently.
Develop proficiency in all General Manager responsibilities and assist as needed.
Provide recommendations for operational improvements to the General Manager.
Provide support to the Dispensary Manager, as requested, to ensure daily operations of the dispensary run smoothly, properly, and in compliance with applicable laws and regulations
Is responsible for accurate transaction reporting to Metrc
Responsible for maintaining an accurate inventory of all cannabis and non-cannabis products
Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA
Other duties as assigned by your supervisor
Qualifications:
Must be at least 21 years of age
Must have a high school diploma, or the equivalent
Must be able to pass all background check requirements and obtain licensing
Retail or hospitality experience, preferred
Must be able to work opening, closing, weekends, and holidays
Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job with or without an accommodation
Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
