Infosys is looking for a skilled AWS Cloud Developer with expertise in Amazon Redshift and Amazon EMR to join our talented team. As an AWS Cloud Developer specializing in Redshift and EMR, you will be responsible for:
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and implement ETL pipelines using Amazon Redshift and EMR (Elastic MapReduce) to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into our data warehouse.
Collaborate closely with data architects, data engineers, and stakeholders to understand data requirements and ensure ETL processes align with business needs.
Optimize and tune ETL workflows for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency on AWS cloud infrastructure.
Implement data quality checks, monitoring, and error handling mechanisms to ensure data integrity and reliability.
Work with large datasets and big data technologies to process and analyze data efficiently.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data processing and ETL workflows in Redshift and EMR environments.
Document ETL processes, data mappings, and system architecture.
Required Qualifications:
Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Charlotte, NC, or willing to relocate to this area. This position may require travel within the US
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education
At least 2 years of experience with Information Technology
At least 2 years of hands-on experience in AWS Cloud ETL
At least 2 years of experience using Amazon Redshift and EMR (Elastic MapReduce)
At least 2 years of experience working with ETL Tools: Matillion, Informatica, Apache Airflow, AWS Glue, or similar
At least 2 years of experience with Programming Languages: Python, JavaScript, Bash Scripting
At least 2 years of experience with Databases: PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle 11g, SQL Server
