Instructional Designer & Facilitator (Education)
Responsibilities:
Creating and updating all processes and training material both internally (for employees) and externally (for customers)Primary point of contact for all administrative needs as it relates to FSTs intranet site and The Learning Management SystemBuild and maintain partnerships with high level decision-makers in a variety of organizationsDesign content to optimize learning and redesign content to ensure it matches learners needsAbility to create visual, audio, and interactive learning toolsDesign and develop instructional materials, including course outlines, lesson plans, and supporting materials, ensuring alignment with learning objectives and organizational goalsApply instructional design principles to create engaging and interactive learning experiences, utilizing a variety of delivery methods such as e-learning modules, instructor led training, and blended learning approachesCreate multimedia content, such as presentation, videos, and simulations, to enhance the learning experience and cater to various learning stylesEnsure content is current, accurate, and relevant, updating materials as needed to reflect changes in processes or industry standardsFacilitate training sessions of diverse audiences, adapting delivery methods to meet the needs of participants and ensure a positive learning experienceFoster an inclusive and participatory learning environment, encouraging collaboration and knowledge sharing among participantsUtilize learning management system (LMS) and other technology platforms to deliver and track training initiativesManage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and ensuring the quality and consistency of instructional materialsYou will be held accountable to comply with all defined business process and the utilization of all technology platforms as defined by FST
Qualifications and Skillsets:
Live FST Traits of Reliable, Invested, Responsive, Adaptable, Passionate, and InnovativeTake ownership of your Duty to Communicate all required and relevant information to necessary people, departments, and customersStrong working knowledge of Learning Management SystemsStrong interpersonal skills and problem management skillsStrong written and verbal communication skills5+ years of instructional design experienceStrong business acumen and time management skillsStrong ability to assess, create, and manage process design and documentationAbility to rapidly learn new software applications and functionalityExperience with developing and delivering training programsStrong working knowledge of Microsoft suite, including Microsoft Outlook, Windows, Word, Excel, and PowerPointAbility to travel at least 30%Bachelors degree preferred in business, technical, or another related field or equivalent experience in instructional designUnderstanding of adult learning theories and instructional design methodologies
