APRN / Instructor I - Developmental Behavioral Pediatrics (Finance)
The Department of Pediatrics at the University of South Florida, Morsani College of Medicine is seeking an Advanced Practitioner Registered Nurse to join the Division of Developmental Behavioral Pediatrics based on the USF campus. This position will provide specialized care for children with developmental, behavioral, and emotional concerns. In this role, the NP conducts comprehensive assessments, diagnoses conditions such as autism, ADHD, and learning disorders, and develops individualized treatment plans. They collaborate with families, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams to implement therapeutic interventions, provide education, and support the child's developmental progress. The NP also offers counseling, behavior management strategies, and monitoring of ongoing treatment, while ensuring that families are empowered with the knowledge and resources needed for optimal care.MINIMUM:
Master's or Medical degree from an accredited institution in an appropriate field of specialization or equivalent qualifications based on professional experience and otherwise qualified to perform assigned duties. Must meet university criteria for appointment to the rank of instructor.
This position requires graduation from an accredited Advanced Practice Registered Nurse academic degree program and certification as outlined in Florida Statutes 464 and Florida Administrative Code, Chapter 64, or graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant academic degree program and certification as outlined in Florida Statutes 458 and 459 and Florida Administrative Code, Chapter 64. Candidates must be Board Certified/Board Eligible in .
PREFERRED:

Participates in QA projects, educational sessions for clinical staff and attends scheduled organizational sessions. . Works closely with board- certified Developmental Behavioral Pediatricians on diagnosing conditions and developing and implementing treatment plans.
