Education & Development Manager (Personal Services)

The Education and Development Manager will aid in coordinating, developing and assisting with the facilitation of provider education, programs, training, and content aimed at expanding the influence and scope of the Merz Aesthetics portfolio. Content may include assisting with slide decks, workshops, meetings, online modules, speaker notes, agendas, surveys, invitations, and other programmatic materials utilized in commercial settings, programs, and presentations. This role will also assist the greater Advocacy and Education team by providing both virtual and in-person event and programmatic support. Those duties include virtual program provider support and coordinating facilitation, shipping educational materials, program assist with logistical support, and attending weekly PRC meetings.

In this role you will need to be comfortable in both clinical and lab settings as well as working with and around content that contains images and videos of medical procedures and cadavers/specimens. This position requires a deep understanding of the aesthetics industry and the Merz Aesthetics portfolio, as well as a passion for education and instructional design. The Education and Development Manager reports to the Senior Manager of US Education & Development and collaborates closely with the Advocacy & Development, Marketing Operations, and greater Marketing teams.

Responsibilities:

Development

• Assist with the creation of educational content for provider programs, tradeshows, events, modules, and development.
• Help the Senior Education Manager execute their designed provider training opportunities.

Collaboration

• Work cross-functionally with the Advocacy and Education team on large scale team projects.
• Provide event support to the Marketing Operations team as needed.

Creating mutually beneficial situations

• Manage the various needs of HCPs in line with corporate goals and facilitate win-win situations for all.
• Find new, creative ways to innovate provider education to expand the scope of the Merz portfolio.

Providing key insights

• Provide routine updates to the Senior Education Manager on educational and program functions.
• Provide customer feedback to support continued content elevation.

Presentation

• Utilize a respectful, courteous, competent, open-minded, and considerate approach at all touchpoints and in all situations as a representative of Merz Aesthetics.

Maintaining relationships

• Take ownership in problem resolution of complex and/or escalated HCP advocate issues requiring research/tasks and calls back with resolution or via written correspondence.

Flexible

• Must be willing to travel at minimum 50% of the time and up to 75% during peak season.
• Must be able to conduct work that includes evenings or occasional weekends.

 

This is a hybrid role. Three days in the office and two days remote. 

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree
• 5+ years working in training and education/ development of others.
• 5+ years working in the aesthetic market.

Preferences:

• Postgraduate Degree.
• Additional certificate programs and/or course work in training/educating others.
• 5+ years working in the device space.
• 5+ Years working with health care providers in an elevated role.
