Overview
The Production Supervisor at Cook Winston Salem is responsible to lead and assist personnel in the fabrication, assembly, packaging, and/or inspection of medical devices.
Responsibilities
• Engage in Employee Relations
• Work with others - looking for ways to help them, positively communicate Cook standards for quality and integrity
• Ensure compliance to quality system policies and department procedures
• Communicate as needed quality department priorities and relay information to department personnel
• Focus on Quality and ensure a consistent message is being delivered, perform investigations and communicate quality or work flow issues to area manager and support groups
• Assume delegated management responsibilities in the absence of Manager
• Accurately and efficiently document employee Time and Attendance, Merit/Performance reviews, Quality, Workmanship and Disciplinary issues, and monthly efficiencies
• Must work and interact effectively and professionally with and for others throughout various levels of the global organization
Qualifications
• Minimum 1 year in house experience in medical device production
• Ability to read/write/understand product documentation and specification drawings written in English
• Ability to use small measuring devices and gauges
• Basic computer entry/retrieval skills
• Good organizational skills
Physical Requirements:
• Good manual dexterity.
• Majority of the day is spent in a "controlled" environment
• Ability to occasionally lift approximately 5 - 50 lbs.
