The Summer Associate role will support the Compliance Monitoring team to help transform the compliance monitoring area into a data-driven capability. The role will support the creation of data analytic and reporting deliverables to expand existing analysis. In addition, this position will support the validation of datasets to measure reporting data accuracy across the enterprise.
What You'll Do :
Support the Compliance team in its transformation towards a data-driven capability.
Assist in the creation of data analytics deliverables to enhance existing compliance monitoring analysis.
Develop and generate reporting deliverables to expand the scope and insights of compliance.
Support the validation of various datasets to ensure the accuracy of reporting data across the organization.
Assist in the design and implementation of data quality checks and processes.
Contribute to the development of methodologies for measuring and improving data accuracy in compliance reporting.
Collaborate with team members to understand data sources and reporting requirements.
Assist in documenting data analysis processes and reporting methodologies.
Contribute to projects aimed at leveraging data to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of compliance monitoring activities.
Potentially assist with other tasks and projects within the Privacy and Compliance department as needed.
What Experience You Need :
Enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program in fields such as Business, Finance, Economics, Data Science, Computer Science, Legal Studies, Mathematics, or a related discipline
Demonstrated interest or coursework in data analysis, data science, business intelligence, or a related field.
Comfort with technology and a willingness to learn new software and tools.
Ability to clearly communicate findings and ideas, both verbally and in writing.
What Could Set You Apart :
Previous exposure to compliance, legal, or regulatory frameworks would be beneficial.
Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) or reporting platforms would be a plus.
An understanding of data structures, datasets, and data quality principles.
