WHO YOU ARE

As the Inventory Cycle Counter you will ensure the accuracy of the bin locator and perpetual inventory system by performing inventory spot checks, cycle counts, and bin audits.

WHERE YOU WILL WORK

In our ClosetMaid Ocala, Florida facility. 

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Ensure the accuracy of the bin locator.
  • Perform aggressive inventory spot checks, cycle counts, and bin audits.
  • Adjust cycle schedule to include spot checks as necessary.
  • Make corrective bin moves and assist in determining root cause of inventory inaccuracies.
  • Responsible for ensuring that specified quality standards are met for all tasks completed
  • Assist operations with other duties as assigned. 

REQUIREMENTS

  • High School Diploma/GED or 3 years of Experience
  • Good Safety record
  • Basic math skills and attention to detail
  • Work accuracy and efficiency
  • Must have the ability to work in a team environment and maintain regular attendance
  • Must be able to work overtime as business needs dictates.

Preferred

  • 1-2 years experience in manufacturing or distribution environment
  • Power Equipment Experience
  • Comfortable working in heights over 20 feet.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand on concrete floor with/without floor mats; and use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms (which may include above and/or below shoulders); bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear. The employee is regularly required to use left and/or right hand for simple grasping; and fine motor work. The employee is occasionally required to walk, climb or balance.  The employee must occasionally lift and/or move products, with assistance. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
