Compiles and maintains accounting records by performing the following duties:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Knowledge of the balance sheet, income statement, and intercompany transactions
Perform balance sheet reconciliations
Reconcile subsidiary accounts to the general ledger
Maintain financial records
Complete quarterly and annual tax reports
Reconcile monthly sales taxes and track state credits/amended returns
Liaise with external audit firm, coordinating various state requirements are met
Coordinate deliverables for external, state, and federal audits
Maintain and import credit card statements and employee expense reports
Provide backup support for accounts receivable (AR) related to deposits and invoicing
Provide backup support for accounts payable (AP) related to check runs
Other duties as assigned

Education/Experience:
4 year degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant subject
Prior experience in reconciling balance sheet/tax accounts is required
Prior experience with SAP is a plus
Language Skills:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization
