What you'll do:
Village Bank & Trust is seeking a Client Support Professional who provides high touch support to commercial real estate clients focusing on treasury management services and commercial loan support. The candidate must be well organized and maintain acute diligence as the role will be responsible for financial transactions and procedures involving loans, accounts, wires, and ACH.
Provide depository, treasury management and administrative support for the commercial real estate lenders and portfolio managers.
Process daily customer requests such as account opening, balance inquiries, wire processing, ACH and transfers for accounts and loans. Troubleshoot and investigate customer issues as needed.
Join Teams calls with new clients and existing clients to grow relationships.
Look for cross sell and add on service opportunities (CD's, Max Safe, Positive Pay, ACH, etc.) when speaking with customers. Refer those opportunities to the TM Sales Officer and Account Officer.
Assist clients with basic online banking/treasury service support.
Prioritize fraud notifications and coordinate action plan with client, Account Officer, TM Sales and CDO.
Salesforce cases for treasury maintenance requests and wire agreement updates.
Obtain appropriate approvals and process temporary ACH and Wire limit increases in time sensitive situations.
Generate, review and address overdraft and past due reporting.
Filter monthly reports reflecting expirations of pricing exceptions and discuss with relationships managers on whether waivers are needed.
Support Relationship Managers by answering calls, preparing packages, data entry, tracking and submitting vendor invoices and gathering information to resolve issues or complete projects.
Review and submit all loan documentation to clear loan documentation exceptions.
Ensure all regulatory and compliance requirements are met.
Work with senior CSP's and senior loan closers to obtain appropriate supporting documents including title work, flood and OFAC searches, insurance, organizational documents, real estate collateral documentation and various due diligence items to verify compliance with loan approval and bank closing procedures.
Review credit approval memorandum and attorney-prepared loan documents for new and renewed loans to ensure compliance and adherence to the loan approval guidelines.
Assist in managing the loan closing pipeline and communicate timelines with internal loan operations department, lenders, title companies, and attorneys throughout the loan process.
Coordinates the application of loan deposits and disbursement of loan proceeds to ensure funds are applied correctly and all costs and invoices as paid at loan closing.
Serves as a backup liaison between commercial real estate lenders, external legal counsel, title insurance representatives and loan operations during all aspects of loan documentation (including at the time legal counsel is engaged) and loan closing process.
Qualifications:
Minimum 3-5 years of banking experience with strong knowledge of account opening, wire procedures, treasury management and assisting commercial loan servicing.
Bachelor's degree preferred.
Elevated level of organization and time-management with keen diligence and the ability to respond quickly to changes in priorities and tasks.
Proficient in MS Office including Outlook, Excel, and Word; familiarity with FIS, ACBS and Salesforce. Familiarity with Encino a plus.
Basic knowledge and understanding of various commercial real estate loan documents, banking processing standards, best practices, and audit control procedures.
Strong and effective verbal and written communication skills are required.
Must develop a sound understanding of loan coding, bank credit policy, loan policy exceptions and other loan closing functions.

Compensation:
The estimated salary range for this role is $42,000 to $58,000 annually, along with eligibility to earn an annual bonus. Actual salaries may vary based on several factors, such as a candidate's qualifications, skills, and experience.
