Job Description: Maintain up-to-date personnel records.Direct new hire processes and orientation.Communicate benefit programs and coordinate workers compensation.Respond to unemployment benefit claims. Responsibilities: Develop and communicate company policies and procedures.Hire, train, supervise, and evaluate HR staff.Maintain active employee files and ensure compliance with personnel requirements.Oversee HR clerical staff for background checks and other procedures.Write job descriptions and ensure employees understand their roles.Audit and revise employee handbooks.Develop and implement new hire orientation programs.Coordinate benefits and organize informational meetings.Assist with employee counseling and performance appraisals.Respond to unemployment claims and assist with workers compensation.Maintain OSHA logs.Conduct employee satisfaction surveys and report results.Assist with legal issues and insurance negotiations. Working Conditions: General office environment with prolonged computer and phone usage.Class III designation (no risk for exposure to bloodborne pathogens). Physical Requirements: Ability to comprehend written/verbal communication.Prolonged sitting and computer work, ability to lift 15 pounds.Ability to handle stress effectively.
