Legal Contracts Intern (Finance)

Great Lakes Cheese is seeking a Legal/Contracts Intern from at our corporate headquarters in Hiram, OH. Job Responsibilities

  • Update GLC contract management system, Cobblestone, to ensure contract hierarchy and most up to date information is available in the system.
  • Enter additional data and contracts into Cobblestone.
  • Follow up with GLC customers to receive final signed copies of agreements and contracts.
  • Utilize DocuSign to send updated contracts for final signature if one is not on file.
  • Support regulatory, sales, and legal teams by locating requested customer contract and documentation requests.
  • Review Cobblestone rules and reports to make sure data is accessible for reporting purposes.
  • All GLC interns are expected to perform any assignment or job task according to the stated safety policies and procedures.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned by the manager.

Required Education and Experience

  • Current college student pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business related field.
  • Year in school: Sophomore, Junior, or Senior.
  • Must have at least a 3.0 GPA.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe PDF.
  • Must be legally authorized to work for a company in the U.S. without sponsorship both now and in the future.

  • Strong communication, presentation, and team skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Self-motivated with a high level of initiative, able to work well independently.

Working Conditions

• Work is performed in an office setting.

• Occasional exposure to industrial operations including: temperature extremes from approximately 35°F to 100°F; noise levels in excess of 85 dB; moisture and moving machinery.
