Technatomy is seeking a Microsoft Dynamics Portfolio Manager to oversee the successful delivery of Microsoft Dynamics 365 projects for the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). This role will be responsible for managing multiple VA programs, ensuring high-quality execution, and driving customer success in alignment with VA's digital transformation and IT modernization objectives. The Portfolio Manager will serve as a key liaison between internal project teams, VA stakeholders, and Technatomy's operations leadership, ensuring that all contract requirements, budget constraints, and strategic goals are met.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Portfolio Management & VA Program Delivery:

  • Oversee the execution of all Technatomy-delivered Microsoft Dynamics 365 projects in support of the VA, ensuring compliance with agency requirements, on-time delivery, and budget adherence.
  • Develop and maintain a VA-specific portfolio roadmap, track project milestones, risks, and performance metrics.
  • Ensure alignment with VA's enterprise architecture, data interoperability standards, and Veteran-centric service delivery goals.

Stakeholder & Customer Engagement:

  • Serve as the primary interface with VA leadership, contracting officers, and key program stakeholders.
  • Establish and maintain trusted relationships with VA OIT, VHA, VBA, and other relevant divisions to drive collaboration and program success.
  • Facilitate regular status meetings, briefings, and performance reporting to VA leadership and Technatomy executives.

Project Governance, Compliance & Risk Management:

  • Ensure all Dynamics 365 projects comply with VA security, compliance, and governance frameworks (e.g., VA TMS, FedRAMP, FISMA, RMF, and Section 508).
  • Maintain strict adherence to VA contract requirements, performance SLAs, and risk management best practices.
  • Drive continuous improvement by integrating VA-specific IT governance and agile delivery methodologies.

Team Leadership & Resource Management:

  • Provide leadership to project managers, functional consultants, developers, and technical teams delivering Dynamics 365 solutions within the VA.
  • Oversee resource allocation to ensure optimal staffing and skill alignment for VA projects.
  • Foster a collaborative, Veteran-focused culture that emphasizes innovation, quality, and mission-driven outcomes.

Strategic Growth & Business Development Support:

  • Support capture and proposal efforts for VA contracts involving Microsoft Dynamics 365 solutions.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance VA's adoption of Dynamics 365 and Power Platform capabilities to improve Veteran services.
  • Collaborate with Technatomy's business development, sales, and solution teams to expand the company's VA footprint.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

·        10+ years of experience in IT project/program management, with at least 5 years managing Microsoft Dynamics 365 implementations.

·        Demonstrated experience delivering solutions for the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), with deep knowledge of VA's IT landscape, compliance standards, and digital transformation initiatives.

·        Expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE), Finance & Operations (F&O), and Power Platform.

·        Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with experience managing cross-functional teams and engaging VA stakeholders.

·        Ability to navigate VA procurement, contract management, and performance reporting requirements.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS DESIRED:

·        Experience supporting VA's OIT, VHA, VBA, or NCA modernization efforts.

·        Familiarity with VA cloud migration strategies and VA Enterprise Cloud (VAEC).

·        Microsoft certifications in Dynamics 365 or Power Platform is a plus.

EDUCATION:

·        Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or related field.

CLEARANCE: 

·        Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.

WORK LOCATION:

·        Remote with occasional travel to VA sites.
