Role description:
Arcadis is seeking an Environmental Project Manager to be based out of our San Francisco, CA office. This full-time position within our Environmental Remediation West group will help manage large scale projects and programs in close collaboration with clients in the Energy sector.
The ideal candidate will possess great attention to detail, excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to work independently, and will be capable of working as a productive member of a high-performance team.
Role accountabilities:
• Conducting client interviews to establish strategy for large scale project management programs, decision making around approach and strategy for program implementation, Managing scope, schedule, and budget for large scale remediation projects
• Experience with large program contract administration and management, budget management, project controls and vendor management.
• Delivering environmental management and remediation programs and projects in California in the Energy sector, Support portfolio or program manager with financial management, Health and safety stewardship, including local field visits
• Position requires some regional travel for client engagement and/or field visits
This position requires both office and field work and must be based in San Francisco area. The role may work hybrid and live within the San Francisco / Concord area such that travel into San Francisco downtown on a weekly basis is possible.
Qualifications & Experience:
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in Geology, Environmental Science, Engineering or closely related field
• 15 years of experience in environmental consulting
• 5 years of project management experience
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience working for clients in the energy sector
