Production Operator (Night Shift) (Transportation)
A high school diploma or GED, or equivalent years of experience preferred.
Will need to read, write, and perform basic math.
Will train but prior work experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
Mechanical Skills a plus
HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
Follow all safety protocols throughout the plant
Performs quality checks to verify product meets required specs.
Observe operation of various machines to detect and correct machine malfunctions such as improper forming, glue flow, or pasteboard tension.
Install attachments to machines for gluing, folding, printing, or cutting.
Cut products to specified dimensions, using hand or power cutters.
Place rolls of paper on machine feed tracks, and thread paper through gluing, coating, and slitting rollers.
Monitor finished product as they drop from forming machines into rotating hoppers and into gravity feed chutes to prevent jamming.
Adjust guide assemblies, forming bars, and folding mechanisms according to specifications, using hand tools.
Applicants must be comfortable working in a non-temperature-controlled environment. Hearing protection and steel toed shoes are required. Safety, hygiene and cleanliness is strictly enforced. Applicants must be able to engage in periods of long standing and walking, and perform consistent lifting of up to 50 lbs.
Compensation Range: $20.00- $22.00 hourly, consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position. ACR reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
