Materials Analyst ( Second Shift ) (Education)
A Materials Analyst is responsible for scheduling, planning, shipping/receiving, and inventory record adjustments and control customer parts and supplies.

Monitor trucking schedules and perform check-in/check-out procedures for all truck driversDocument and investigate any materials issues communicated by customerCommunicate issues to appropriate TVS personnelMaintain various computerized reports, charts and graphsPerform cycle counts as requiredAnalyze reports, measurements and external benchmarks to identify opportunities for continual improvementEnsure timely receipt of materials to support the production scheduleEnsure accuracy of data in system, including location, quantity on hand, value, etc.Ensure all customer orders are shipped promptly, accurately and with all necessary documentationTrack meaningful departmental reports and metricsMonitor supplier performance including on-time delivery and qualityWork with supplier representatives on quality issuesRegular and reliable attendance at work

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The associate may occasionally be required to lift 51 pounds, anything greater than 51 pounds requires assistance. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment
This job is performed in a busy warehouse with high forklift traffic. Warehouses are subject to seasonal temperatures. Steel-toed shoes and safety vests are required personal protective equipment (PPE).
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
Full Time, Non-Exempt. Schedule flexibility for extended or unplanned work hours is required.

Education and Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent required1+ year of shipping/receiving experience is requiredInventory management experience is requiredCustomer service experience preferredDemonstrated experience with WMS systems is requiredStrong computer skills with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access)
