SME H2S Treatment (Personal Services)
REQUIRED EDUCATION, QUALIFICATION, AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field, such as chemical engineering, petroleum engineering, or a related discipline. Advanced certifications or degrees would be advantageous.
Extensive industry experience and expertise in H2S treating within the oil and gas industry, with a focus on practical applications and operational considerations.
In-depth knowledge of H2S properties, behavior, and associated health and safety risks in oil and gas operations.
Familiarity with relevant industry standards, regulations, and best practices, such as API, NACE, OSHA, EPA, and regulatory requirements for H2S management and occupational health.
REQUIRED SKILLS & ABILITIES
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex situations, identify underlying issues, and develop effective solutions.
Excellent communication skills, including the ability to convey technical concepts and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Proven track record of successfully implementing and optimizing H2S treating programs in oil and gas operations, achieving measurable results in terms of safety, compliance, and operational efficiency.
Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.
Professional certifications, such as Certified H2S Safety Specialist (CHSS) or Certified Process Safety Professional (CCPSC), would be desirable.
