Role reports to: Technical Operations Principal Engineer
Location: Fort Washington, PA
Pay: Anticipated hourly pay for this role ($22.75 - $29.00) depending on skills, experience, education level & other job-related factors
What you will do
The Technical Operations Package Development Co-Op provides each student with real-life hands-on experience, coaching and mentoring, networking opportunities, as well as the opportunity to meet people from various schools throughout the country. Multi-functional collaboration provides an opportunity to partner with a variety of people in the organization and develop your leadership, analytical, and project management skills to build a strong career foundation.
Key Responsibilities
• Support package development activities for a broad portfolio of consumer healthcare products including OTC drugs and dietary supplements
• Create and/or update packaging component and assembly drawings and material specifications
• Document all packaging design, development, and testing to comply with internal processes and regulatory requirements
• Support package development activities in Manufacturing Operations including packaging line trials
• Interact with outside suppliers for packaging component development, evaluation, and testing
• Recommend alternatives and solutions to resolve supply chain disruptions and emerging requirements
What we are looking for
Required Qualifications
• Actively enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree
• Pursuing a degree in Packaging Engineering/Science, Material Science, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related degree
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. and must not require sponsorship for employment visa status now or in the future (e.g. H1-B status)
• A minimum 2.8 cumulative GPA based on a 4.0 scale
• Ability to work 40 hours/week during the duration of the assignment. The program will be active from Monday-Friday from June 2025 to December 2025
• The student is expected to be available for travel to the office. Please note that arranging transportation will be the student's responsibility.
