Function as the second-in-command on company aircraft. Assume joint responsibility for the safety of passengers and flight crew and perform other general department duties when not flying. Ensure all flight and ground operations comply with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations and company policies. Possess a valid Commercial Multi-Engine certificate.
Possess a valid FAA First Class Medical certificate.
Possess a valid Radio Operator's certificate issued by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC)
1,000 hours of accumulated flight time, including 100 hours in multi-engine.

Previous flight experience in Challenger 300, Citation XLS+ or a similar aircraft
Aid in the responsibility for the safety and well-being of the crew and passengers onboard the company aircraft; provide a best-in-class passenger experience
Assist the Captain to decide whether the aircraft shall proceed to any destination or undertake any flight
Provide input in operational decisions regarding weather, airports, and aircraft performance limitations to assure proper safety margins are observed at all times
Remain current and updated on FAA regulations, company policies, Notice to Airmen (NOTAMS) and operational limitations of the aircraft
Work with Kroger Aviation Department to maintain a culture of safety and efficient procedures to support customer demand
Assume command of the aircraft in the event the Captain becomes incapacitated during flight
