Summary of Position
At Jabil, our financial systems developers are true business partners who immerse themselves in the domains they support to develop modern and collaborative solutions to business problems. This position works closely with our Financial Reporting and FP&A departments and will be a part of the team developing applications using Python and Javascript against our IBM Cognos TM1 database. Our developers handle all aspects of the of the development process. An ideal candidate will combine the technical abilities with effective interpersonal skills to develop requirements, code and support solutions, create training documentation and communicate project status to stakeholders.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Design and support solutions leveraging our IBM Cognos TM1 platforms
Compose communications and documentation for a global audience
Utilize Python and Angular to develop dynamic web based front ends and middle ware solutions
Complete specific projects assigned by the Project or Department Manager
Flexible work schedule given potential deadlines
Comply and follow all procedures within the company security policy
Skills
Programming Experience (Preferable with Javascript, Python, SQL)
Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Interest in REST APIs, VSCode, and GIT
Effective Communication skills
Self-starter – ability to drive work and manage time and tasks effectively
Demonstrate leadership skills: agility, building trusting relationships, decision making skills, and resilience
Strong examples of experience in academic work or participation in Capstone Programs
Qualifications
Currently enrolled at an accredited university/college and is graduating between May 2025 - Dec 2025
GPA: 3.0+
Availability: Must be available to work in St. Petersburg, Florida from May 19, 2025 – Aug 8, 2025.
Majors: MIS, Computer Science, IS, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Artificial Intelligence and Business Analytics, Business Analytics and Information Systems degree program.
