What's the role?
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Analyst to join our team on a temporary basis. The ideal candidate will support the finance department by analyzing financial data, preparing reports, and assisting in budgeting and forecasting processes. This role is crucial for ensuring accurate financial planning and decision-making.

Here's what you'll do:
Monthly Close - perform various aspects of month-end and year-end close activities including preparing standard, accrual, recurring, and specialized journal entries.
Data Analysis: Collect, analyze, and interpret financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
Budgeting: Assist in the development and monitoring of budgets, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
Forecasting: Support the forecasting process by analyzing historical data and market trends to project future financial performance.
Financial Modeling: Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic initiatives and business decisions.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather necessary data and provide financial insights to support operational decisions.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards and assist in audits as required.
Ad-hoc Analysis: Perform ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting as needed to support management decisions.
Do you qualify?
Education : Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
Experience : Previous experience as a Financial Analyst or in a similar role is preferred, but not mandatory for entry-level candidates.
Technical Skills : Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, financial modeling, and familiarity with financial software (e.g., SAP ).
Analytical Skills : Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Communication Skills : Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly.
Team Player : Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
