Essential Functions of the job:

Join Our Team as a Staff Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)!

Are you passionate about making a difference in patients' lives? As a Staff Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), you'll play a vital role in providing high-quality care while working in a supportive and collaborative environment.

What You'll Do:

✅ Evaluate & Plan - Assess patients within 24 hours of referral and develop personalized treatment plans with physician approval.
✅ Provide Therapy - Deliver evidence-based treatments and adjust care as needed to meet patient goals.
✅ Supervise & Lead - Oversee Speech-Language Pathologist Assistants and mentor students and CFY/RFP candidates.
✅ Collaborate - Work closely with an interdisciplinary care team, sharing insights and participating in care conferences.
✅ Document with Accuracy - Maintain detailed evaluations, progress notes, and required records.
✅ Educate & Support - Train families and staff on maintenance programs to promote discharge readiness.
✅ Ensure Compliance - Follow state practice acts, facility policies, and payer requirements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders required; Master's or Doctorate in Speech-Language Pathology preferred.
• Must have or be in the process of obtaining Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or be in your Clinical Fellowship (CF) year.
• Intermediate proficiency in computer skills, including experience with Casamba, PointClickCare (PCC), or similar electronic documentation systems.
