About The Opportunity
The National IT Treasury Services Division has an immediate opening for an IT Vendor Management Advisor – Senior. We serve as a hosting provider for the U.S. Treasury, spanning robust on premise and innovative hosting offerings in Amazon Web Services (AWS). As part of offering these services, we utilize a primarily outsourced arrangement with several large managed services providers to deliver outcomes and support the Treasury's critical mission.
As an IT Vendor Manager Advisor, you will be essential to supporting our division and key vendors associated with maintaining our cloud and on-prem infrastructure that support our Treasury applications and business lines. On a day-to-day basis you will work with various individuals within our division and outside to ensure our vendors are meeting their contract deliverables and ultimately providing the support needed to maintain operational excellence.
What You Will Do:
Develop and maintain relationships with multiple vendors and understand the products and services they support.
Monitor key vendors for performance, support, and risk management.
Engage third party vendors for escalations related to support and address vendor incidents and support cases; negotiate performance issues and concerns.
Support and manage Request for Proposal (RFP), Request for Information (RFI), Request for Quote (RFQ) processes as needed.
Participate in contract and Statement of Work (SOW) renewals and amendments.
Perform contract research for vendors, to understand service levels, support agreements, terms and conditions.
Arrange and host governance meetings with key vendors and executives.
Participate and support the annual vendor scorecard process, gathering data, feedback, to create and share presentations with leadership and vendor executives and stakeholders.
Support Asset Management, both hardware and software.
Track and support the onboarding/off-boarding activities for our key vendor partners.
Support the System Vendor Management Framework (SVMF), creating and updating documentation.
Maintain and update vendor management process documentation.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree or 6 to 9+ years of equivalent experience in Vendor Management, Third Party Risk Management, or Supply Chain Management.
Must have the ability to multitask, be a self-starter and be able to work independently or on a team.
Strong negotiation skills and decision-making skills.
General knowledge of IT is a plus (On-prem and cloud environments).
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills.
Proficient in all MS office applications, including SharePoint. Skills using Ariba and WorkDay are a plus.
Some travel may be required or needed.

The Richmond hiring range of the Advisor IT Senior is $112,000 – $140,500 Annually.
Salary offered will be based on the job responsibilities and the individual's knowledge, skills, and experience as defined in the job qualifications.
