Organizational Development Specialist II-Employee Experience (Hybrid, North Carolina Based) (Finance)
The Organizational Development Specialist II-Employee Experience is responsible for developing, implementing and evaluating strategies and initiatives to improve organizational effectiveness, specific to the function of employee engagement and supporting organizational values and strategic goals. The Organizational Development Specialist II-Employee Experience is focused on creating an outstanding employee work experience and an inclusive, collaborative culture at Alliance Health. This role will be responsible for developing engagement strategies and resources, designing activities/celebrations and continuously monitoring progress to build and improve satisfaction. This role will report to the Organizational Development Manager.
This position will allow the successful candidate to work a hybrid schedule which includes coming into work onsite in the Alliance Home office (Morrisville, North Carolina) one to two days, every other week as approved by supervisor. The selected candidate must reside also in North Carolina and be willing to travel to the home office for team or onsite business meetings as required.
Responsibilities & Duties
Employee Engagement & Culture
- Develop and implement employee engagement strategies, initiatives and programs consistent with organizational values and organizational culture
- Promote and nurture a positive organizational culture that aligns with Alliance's values through collaboratively planning and designing org-wide events and celebrations
- Facilitate and participate in employee groups and interviews that solicit feedback and input on drivers of engagement
- Promote employee recognition within our recognition platform and through our service awards program, encouraging all staff to participate
- Assist with the employee engagement survey design, deployment and data analysis
- Manage internal communications regarding engagement and culture activities and surveys to ensure employee are aware of opportunities and ways to provide feedback
- Lead the Employee Engagement and Recognition Committee; recruiting and maintaining participation from employees across the organization; ensuring leader sponsorship and planning inclusive engagement and culture activities and celebration for a hybrid-organization
Program Evaluation and Improvement
- Develop evaluations and tools to collect data and monitor the effectiveness of OD programs, surveys and initiatives
- Gather quantitative and qualitative data through various methods such as interviews, focus groups, and observations
- Analyze collected data to identify trends, strengths, gaps, and areas for improvement
- Prepare detailed reports that summarize the evaluation results and provide actionable insights
- Make recommendations for program improvements based on the evaluation findings
- Present findings and recommendations to program managers, leadership, and other stakeholders
- Implement adjustments and recommendations to OD programs, surveys and initiatives; leveraging change management best practices and communication practices
Collaboration
- Work closely within OD Consultant, Change Management and OD Specialist to ensure deliverables and resources are promoting employee engagement and contributing to increased satisfaction
- Collaborate within ODL team to ensure programs and initiatives are aligned with internal opportunities and support the mission and vision of the department
- Provide direct support and coaching to employees to navigate transitions
- Support organizational and department trainings and activities onsite as needed
Minimum Requirements
Education & Experience
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in Organizational Development, Organizational Leadership, Science in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a field providing background in organizational analysis and management development and at least six (6) years of work experience in organizational development, learning and development, organizational change management or human resources functions.
Certified Employee Engagement Specialist; or related certification, Organizational Development Certification Program (ODCP, Certified Professional in Organizational Development (CPOD, Professional in Human Resources (PHR); or related certification.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
- Knowledge of principles and methods for curriculum and training design, teaching, and instruction for individuals and groups
- Considerable knowledge planning, administering, supervising, and coordination learning activities
- Knowledge of measurement of training evaluation
- Knowledge of media production, communication, and dissemination techniques and methods including alternative ways to inform and entertain the target audience via written, oral, and visual media
- Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language
- Ability to express oneself effectively both in written and oral formats.
- Ability to engage an audience
Salary Range
$66,240-$89,424/Annually
Exact compensation will be determined based on the candidate's education, experience, external market data and consideration of internal equity.
