Administrator - Production (Administrative)
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES: include the following
Administers programs, projects, and/or processes specific to the production and sanitation departments.
Coordinates, plans, and executes routine projects and programs for their respective facility.
Ensures the maintenance of records and prepared statistical reports to evaluate the success of programs.
Responsible for managing time keeping system and all records pertaining to employee hours and payroll.
Coordinates the performance evaluation process for new hires, as well as current employees in conjunction with the Shift Assistant Managers and Manufacturing Trainer.
Acts as the point person in maintaining the daily schedule of staff, determines priorities in relation to standing obligations and deadlines; arranges meetings, conferences, and adjusts appointments and other events to accommodate urgent matters.
Creates monthly reports for Director of Manufacturing.
Determines and provides necessary backup and supporting materials for various meetings.
Creates and tracks tasks assigned during meetings and sets up timeline for completion.
Assists in the preparation and control of records, statistics, and reports regarding manufacturing, personnel changes, etc.
Works with operations, labor coordinator, and department managers to analyze status of employee schedules, status and performance, oversees results.
Independently oversees and performs a wide variety of projects and processes.
Translates and interprets policies and program materials for staff.
Contributes to the continuous improvement culture.
Attends company scheduled meetings when applicable (i.e., safety meetings, production meetings, department meetings.).
Informs direct supervision of any problems or complications that may arise.
Participates in special projects and performs other duties as required
In addition to the essential duties and responsibilities listed above, all positions are also responsible for:
Meeting company standards pertaining to quantity and quality of work performed on an ongoing basis, performing all work related tasks in a manner that is in compliance with all Company policies and procedures.
Adhering to Company policies, procedures, and directives regarding standards of workplace behavior in completing job duties and assignments. Must follow all Company Safety policies, as well as all GMP regulations
As part of your supervisory responsibility and as a back-up, supervisors must be able to do your work in ways that ensure safe food. You must also be aware of issues associated with food safety and safe food handling practices that are relevant to your job. Formal training is not required, but in house Food Safety Training conducted by a qualified staff member is mandatory. You must know how to recognize, prevent and alleviate food safety hazards. This position requires good working knowledge of the SQF code
Requirements:
2-3 years of experience in a project role. Must have manufacturing experience, food industry preferred. Prior experience supporting a team.
AA Degree or equivalent work experience
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Bilingual a plus
