Senior Water/Wastewater Engineer (Finance)

Role description:
Arcadis is currently searching for a Senior Water/Wastewater Engineer with a minimum of 10 years of experience to join our team. This hybrid role could be based out of our Cincinnati, Indianapolis or Louisville location.
n this role, you will utilize your expertise and technical knowledge of water/wastewater evaluations, design & construction to serve as a Lead Technical Designer, Task Manager and/or Project Manager on local projects. This is a 'hands-on' role with an expectation of leading tasks and projects, managing staff, working directly with clients, and participating in business development activities.
Role accountabilities:
In this role, you will be a Project Manager and team leader responsible for developing municipal water/wastewater projects and leading the team in executing and delivering those projects. Your technical knowledge and experience will be utilized in planning, designing, and constructing water/wastewater treatment plants/facilities, pump stations, stormwater systems, and distribution/collection systems. You will also be responsible for creating construction documents/specifications and providing engineering services during construction.
Additionally, you will be involved in developing project scopes, budgets, and delivery schedules, ensuring that tasks/projects are completed within the allocated budget and timeframe. You will actively participate in industry conferences/associations at the local, state, and/or national level, taking on committee memberships, giving presentations, and assuming leadership roles. Marketing and business development activities for the water/wastewater market in the region, including proposal development, will be part of your responsibilities. Collaboration with other senior staff to manage clients in the region, as well as coordination of project execution with other disciplines, will be essential. You will handle projects of various sizes, from inception to completion, and prepare comprehensive construction packages, including all deliverables, for the engineering, procurement, and construction of water wastewater systems for clients. Managing cost estimates and project schedules will also fall under your purview. Your role will involve performing detailed engineering calculations and analysis, utilizing design software to address complex issues.
While knowledge of CADD software is advantageous, it is not required for this position. Furthermore, you will supervise and support the work of others, while mentoring junior-level engineers and design/drafting technical staff. Throughout your work, it will be important to maintain Arcadis' standards and specifications for municipal water/wastewater design and construction projects.

We offer nine paid holidays and 20 days PTO that accrue per year. The salary range for this position is $97,600 - $146,400. Actual salaries will vary and are based on several factors, such as experience, education, budget, internal equity, project and location.
