NA Supply Chain Excellence Leader (Finance)

Kenvue is recruiting for Senior Director, Supply Chain Excellence NA. This position can be based in Summit, NJ or Fort Washington, PA and is accountable for core cross functional processes within NA Supply Chain that facilitate strategy deployment governance and reporting, business planning, development of targeted capabilities, and major programs. This individual partners with global teams to help shape and influence design of key initiatives and processes in line with Regional Operating Plans. This leader will drive excellence across such initiatives as e-Commerce, trade customization management, distribution flow optimization, risk management, reliability and agility standardization, inventory optimization, S&OP excellence, advanced analytics, NA SC LT meeting management, and budget planning processes. The Senior Director will have responsibility for the NA Global Plan Excellence, directing workflow while collaborating directly with the Global teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Shapes and drives execution of the NA SC strategy in partnership with the regional E2E Franchise leaders and the NA SC leadership team. Collaborates closely with the rest of the SCLT to strengthen overall value of the Supply Chain organization for our Commercial partners and our customers.
• Enables business results improvements through the centralized management/ accountability of all major cross functional programs including but not limited to: regional inventory management governance, Risk Management program, Supply Chain Flow Optimization, Learning and Development and the budget cycle updates.
• Facilitates Organizational Effectiveness for the NA Supply Chain organization and partners with functional leaders to support change management.
• Promotes excellence in execution and provides expertise in the areas of Value Chain Management, Process Improvement; Operating Model; Integrated GP (iGP). Manages the OKR process setting and tracking. Owns the regional and global metrics generation and reporting.
• Strategizes and leads the operational introduction to market, brand relaunch & new SKUs' launch ensuring all supply chain pillars are executed with excellence. Partners with Supply Chain leadership to develop and deploy a capacity driven network strategy, to evolve network performance across multiple measures, and to ensure overall network optimization for supply reliability, flexibility, and economic performance. Through innovation and strategic capability building, propels strong competitive advantage over the span of the LRFP.
• Owns and monitors the NA SC Performance Management process and governance model for the NA E2E SC Team as well as the A&D Program Management. Process owner for Strategic & Business Planning processes orchestrating BP and LRFP deliverables for the region.
• Manages a team focused on Analytics, Inventory, E2E Program Management, Supply Chain capabilities and Network Strategy in partnership with the Regional Plan Excellence and MAKE Excellence groups.
• Builds and accelerates Data Analytics capabilities across NA SC to enable an insight-based, data-driven organization. Supports Segment leaders and NA SC leadership team to drive greater strategic alignment of priorities leveraging analytics. Leads and supports the Programs Governance framework.
• Drives employee engagement, action planning and talent strategy for the E2E Supply Chain Excellence team
• Leads the deployment of best practices in the area of learning and development, providing for a regimented program to develop the skills and capabilities of our future leaders and emerging talent.
• Collaborates with functional excellence teams to ensure a holistic approach with balanced focus between building functional expertise and E2E capabilities.
• Manages effective communication strategies, cascading information about how the NA Consumer SC is translating strategy to execution across the entire organization.
• Core member of the NA SC Leadership Team and reports to NA SC VP Supply Chain.

• A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required, preferably in a scientific and engineering discipline; an MBA or other advanced degree is preferred.

• A minimum of 15 years of diverse experience across different areas of the Supply Chain is required (i.e: Supply Chain/Demand Planning, Contract/Internal Manufacturing, Supply Chain/Demand Planning, Manufacturing, Procurement, Project Management, or Distribution).

• Direct experience in Supply Chain Process Excellence and previous experience in strategic roles is required.

• A minimum of 8 years of demonstrated direct people management experience is required.

• Strong partner and influencer to support the broader SC goals.

• Demonstrated understanding/ability to consolidate, optimize and prioritize a portfolio of programs under constraints in a dynamic manner, specifically allocating and re-allocating resources (budgets, FTEs) across programs is required.

• Demonstrated knowledge of advanced financial planning and costing principles.

• Demonstrated ability to achieve business goals in a complex environment with multiple layers of stakeholders is required.

• Experience in a Consumer, packaged goods or FDA-regulated industry is preferred.

• Defined experience with change management and demonstrated abilities across any combination of negotiation, financial or analytical skills are required.

• An entrepreneurial self-starter with strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to influence across functional levels up to and including the Board level is required.

• Demonstrated experience managing ambiguity and white space required.

• Exceptional financial acumen and knowledge of business processes and budgeting is needed.

• Previous member of an Executive Leadership team is preferred.

• Ability to develop and lead the execution of strategy and business transformation activities is required.

• This position requires up to 25% Domestic and International travel based on business needs.
