Manager Inventory Lifecycle- Remote (Finance)
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Manage/Implement Period End Buy Program for Suppliers - identify targets, develop/implement recommendations, establish/report metrics
• Manage/Implement Vendor Logistics team - identify targets, develop/implement recommendations, establish/report metrics
• Collaborate/support and participate in Supplier Meetings with Supplier Relationship Managers
• Manage team of direct reports - 1:1's, project management, performance reviews 10%
• Distribution Center Capacity Review - participate/manage DC Capacity projects for Supplier Relationship Management team
• Support Service Level Reporting/Metrics - Top 100 OOS, Recap/Root Cause, Weekly meetings
• Support Supplier Compliance on Late & Unappointed and Missed Appointments
• Performs other relevant job duties as required.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Education/ Certifications/or Equivalent combination of education training and experience:
• Bachelor's degree in business or related field
Experience:
• 5-7 years of Supplier Chain experience with a thorough understanding of end-to-end operations
Knowledge/ Skills/ Abilities:
• Understanding of market penetration strategies, market development techniques, and market segmentation strategies with a focus on trends and consumer behavior tactics
• Strong negotiation skills
• Thorough understanding of supplier chain lifecycle, particularly procurement, distribution, and operations
• Strong understanding of the supplier landscape - natural, organic, specialty, and conventional
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing, manufacturing costs, and product price components
• Excellent leadership skills - ability to manage cross-functionally as well as across a variety of positions/titles
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Critical thinking, solution and action oriented - ability manage projects through from inception to completion
• Good judgment is required for this position as there may be times when direct supervision may not be immediately available.
• Solid analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills
• Computer literate and ability to use all related hardware and software
PHYSICAL ENVIRONMENT/ DEMANDS:
• Some travel may be required
• Most work is performed in a temperature-controlled office environment
• Incumbent may sit for long periods of time at desk or computer terminal
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle,
or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.
• Incumbent may use calculators, keyboards, telephone and other office equipment in the course of normal
workday
• Stooping, bending, twisting and reaching may be required in completion of job duties
